The ability to manipulate polymeric materials. Variation of Matter Manipulation and Molecular Manipulation.
Also Called[]
- Polymer Control
- Polymeric Substance Control/Manipulation
- Polimerokinesis
Capabilities[]
The user can create, shape and manipulate polymers, large molecules (macromolecules) made of long, repeating chains of molecular units called monomers. Through the process of polymerization, where monomers interact in a chemical reaction, the units join together to create larger molecular entities. These are some of the most ubiquitous materials in existence and can manifest naturally or synthetically. Some examples of biopolymers (naturally occurring polymers) are plant cellulose, silk, keratin and even RNA and DNA, while examples of synthetic polymers are nylon, Teflon, epoxy and all manufactured plastics. Users with this power can manipulate the nature of whatever kind of polymers (natural or artificial) according to their will. They can alter their molecular structure, manifest various types of constructs or even create new types.
Applications[]
- Manipulate the properties of polymers.
- Polymer Attacks
- Polymer Constructs
- Polymer Generation/Polymer Mixture
- Solidification of polymers
- Move/lift polymers
- Flight using polymers
- Matter Surfing with polymers
Variations[]
- Chitin Manipulation
- Cotton Manipulation
- DNA Manipulation
- Keratin Manipulation
- Plastic Manipulation
- Protein Manipulation
- Rubber Manipulation
- Silk Manipulation
- Starch Manipulation
- Wool Manipulation
Associations[]
Limitations[]
- Matter Destruction/Molecular Deconstruction/Molecular Destabilization
- May only be able to create and/or control certain type of polymer (natural or artificial).
- May be unable to create polymers, being limited to manipulating only from already existing sources.
- Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
- Polymers may possess specific vulnerabilities based on their inherent natures.
- May only be able to create certain amount of polymers.
