Capabilities

The user can utilize the Portal Arts, a specialized system of techniques based around gateway power. Portals are special doorways, often associated with the space-time continuum, that enable for connections between locations that are not linked under normal physical or spatial circumstances. Many supernatural individuals are capable of creating such gateways, usually for the purpose of transportation. Under the proper conditions and with specialized training, however, the usage of portals can go beyond mere movement.

Users can learn to open multiple portals at once or manipulate their sizes. Along with augmenting one’s locomotive capabilities, they can be used in concert with combat skill to create specialized battle skills. They can be used to protect an individual from harm by redirecting threats aimed at the user. One could even learn to channel energy and/or matter through the portals to heighten one’s physical being or even create unique attacks.
