Capabilities

The user can utilize the Power Source Arts, a specialized system of techniques based around supernatural resources. Supernatural Arts enable practitioners the ability to exhibit various skills related to certain materials and/or energies. In some cases, however, there are capabilities that are based on specific sources of power. Rather than simply demonstrating unique preternatural feats, one can learn to directly channel the essence/force of a paranormal wellspring. It can be an external (cosmic, extra-dimensional, object-based, etc.) or internal (symbiotic, imbued, inherited, etc.) fountainhead. It can have any aspect (elemental, spiritual, magical, etc.). Regardless of what it is, it serves as the resource for the user’s various attack/defense/support techniques. Truly skilled users can go even further, being able to alter aspects of the power source (changing its output or inherent nature), create their own idiosyncratic abilities, learn to channel it to others or even attain a new state of being as an actual living power derivation.
