Magni and Modi (God of War 2018) were prophecied to survive Ragnarok and thus survive everything the world could throw at them, only meeting their ends at the hands of the fate immune Kratos.

The power to be protected by prophecy or grant such protection to others. Sub-power of Prophecy Manipulation. Variation of Prophecy and Protection. Related to Plot Armor.

Capabilities

The user either is protected by or can grant protection of the power of prophecy, allowing them to survive any situation and come out on top because it has been written they will. In the most common form, the user is destined to die from a specific circumstance, and thus cannot die from anything else until their time comes.

Death (Final Destination series) essentially programs the events of a person's entire lifespan, ultimately deciding where, when and how they will die. Should anyone deviate or "cheat" from what Death has set for them, whether deliberately or not, Death will then impart a new design and eventually return for them to seek revenge...

...going so far as to prevent Eugene Dix from committing suicide because it wasn't yet his time to die.

As the arbiters of fate, the Whispers (Final Fantasy VII Remake) also determine when and how a person dies, intervening to save Reno from being killed by Cloud and resurrecting Barret when he was killed by Sephiroth because neither were meant to die at the time.

The Elder God (Legacy of Kain) controls the Wheel of Fate...
