Capabilities[]
Users are or can become a Superior Redcap, these beings are very similar to Redcaps but have much higher degrees of magic and a more demonic influence - they are also virtually immortal beings and can survive, albeit in a weakened state, even if they run out of blood or are otherwise "killed" in physical form.
While Redcaps are generally solitary goblins with murderous intent upon any human they come across the Greater Redcap can form pacts with evil-minded humans and thus is more demonic than even their usual Redcap "cousins", capable of developing powerful bonds with sorcerers and warlocks - having learned that co-operating with such barbaric individuals allow them to better shed blood and thus empower themselves.
The most famous example of this kind of Redcap is the figure known as Robin Redcap, who was considered the Familiar of the infamous Scottish warlock known as William de Soulis - together the pair would engage in countless atrocities so great the castle itself began to sink "as if to hide its sins from God". De Soulis would eventually be boiled alive by his servants to stop the rampage (as Robin Redcap had granted him immunity to all other weapons) - with his master's death Robin Redcap became a ghostly figure who is still believed to haunt the castle to this day.

- Despite their considerable array of powers they are inferior to true gods or transcendent entities.
- Still vulnerable to divine magic and prayers.
- Still require blood but no longer die if denied, instead they live on in weaker, ghost-like state.
- Even more sadistic and cruel than regular Redcaps, thus even more prone to reckless acts and needless violence.
- May be bonded with a master (for example Robin Redcap is the Familiar of William de Soulis)
