Using Chaos Blast, Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog) unleashes a massive explosion of Chaos Energy.
Creepers (Minecraft) can self-detonate, destroying themselves and nearly anything within its blast radius.
Once they begin to die, Wraths (Quake: Dissolution of Eternity) can automatically self-destruct, damaging anything that's within their vicinity.
In a last effort to defeat the heroes of MÄR, Kapel Meister (Marchen Awakens Romance) overflows his entire body with magical power, causing him to explode.
Upon getting killed and defeated, a Welder's (New Blood Interactive's DUSK) canister that links to their fire ball-based gun, will happen to inevitably burst into flames and causing their clothes to ignite. In roughly a second, the canister will detonate, harming their nearby allies if they aren't careful.

...He can also use his Taiga Tri Blade to ignite himself and self-destruct with the Taiga Blast Attack move.
