The ability to replicate oneself. Sub-power of Replication. Not to be confused with Alternate-Self Creation.
Also Called[]
- Self-Cloning/Copying/Duplication/Mitosis/Multiplication
- Literal One-Man Army
Capabilities[]
The user can instantly and perfectly replicate themselves, often numerous times. These self-duplicates are sometimes created directly from the user, often by them splitting into multiple individual beings while also being able to recombine their clones at will. Most users have both of these abilities (if subconsciously), copying their clothes/equipment along with their body and every ability or other attribute the user has or wants their replicas to have. Usually, the original user will be able to maintain control over all copies.
Applications[]
Variations[]
- Assimilative Replication
- Astral Self-Replication
- Consumptive Cloning
- Demi-Cellular Division
- Kinetic Replication
- Regenerative Replication
- Resurrection Replication
- Shrinking Replication
- Teleportation Clones
Associations[]
- Alternate-Self Creation
- Construct Creation
- Multi-Shapeshifting
- Omnireplication
- Quantity Manipulation
- Replication
- Self-Fission
Limitations[]
- Pain or struggle to the user may cause the copies to become distressed as well.
- The reverse could also happen, with the copies' pain being transferred to the user.
- Replicates may develop individual thoughts and personalities that may go cross-purpose to the original.
- Replicates that exist for a long time and/or are away from their creator may be especially prone to this.
- Splitting replicates may proportionately split power, causing each individual to be weaker every time more replicates are made.
- There may be a limit to the number of replicates user can have at a time.
- User cannot replicate anything other than themselves though they can copy their clothes/equipment along with their body.

Gremmy Thoumeaux (Bleach) with The Visionary he can replicate himself to increase his imagination powers.
Like Vlad and Dark Danny, Danny Fenton/Phantom (Danny Phantom) can duplicate his form into 4 duplicates that share all of his powers and characteristics.
Unlike Danny, Vlad Masters/Plasmius (Danny Phantom) mastered this power before Danny and can create four duplicates while being invisible to over a hundred of clones of himself that have all of his powers and characteristics.
Enid (OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes) can create immobile clones of herself that turn to wood once touched.
With her Avatar skill, Han Sooyoung (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint) can create and remotely control clone-like avatars of herself.

As Creber, the Player (Madness: Project Nexus) can create clones of him up to 4 using Replication Support Gas (RSG) inside his body to help him fight enemies.
Monica Rappaccini (Marvel’s Avengers) could replicate herself after stealing that ability from inhuman Jessica Yi.
