Capabilities[]
The user can create, manipulate, and destroy shades, ephemeral entities native to the chthonic afterlife lying beyond the veil of life and death. Often in the service of transcendent beings or potent mystics, they tend to act as the eyes and ears of various figures throughout mythology, fable and other stories. Once one earns they're loyalties, they will have a close companionship with these creatures for life. They are often described as bringers of doom and harrowing events; they are also seen as carriers of the departed, often collecting and escorting lost souls to the other side to face judgement for their life choices.
