Spiritual Alchemy

"The universe is surrounded by the sphere of light or stars. This comprises the River of Living Water—the Azoth or fiery mercurial essence, that flows out from the throne of God and Lamb. In this Edem is the first or spiritual Earth, the incomprehensible and intangible dust out of which God formed Adam Kadmon, the spiritual body of man, which must become fully revealed through time."

The user can utilize spiritual alchemy, a spiritually divine form of alchemy. Spiritual alchemy is the pursuit of achieving the goal of spiritual transcendence and transformation, purifying the spirit, expanding the consciousness and touching the divine. That is, users seek to turn the "lead" of the human soul into the "gold" of an enlightened being. Those who have achieved a higher consciousness and attained insight into the mysteries of the universe are capable of effecting transmutation of earthly things. Ultimately, through the use of this alchemy, users seek to liberate the soul from its attachment to matter.
