Capabilities

Symbiosis (from Greek συμβίωσις, symbíōsis, "living together", from σύν, sýn, "together", and βίωσις, bíōsis, "living") is a powerful and interactive relationship between users and other beings/entities has when becoming hosts to another being/entity that lives in or on the user that naturally advantages them together, generally granting the host gains enhanced condition and new powers/abilities while the symbiote by nature requires the essence of the host in order to survive.

Because symbiotes require a host to survive, they feed off its host's body, mind, soul, emotions, life force, etc., but in return, they give the host greater power similar to the ways of equivalent exchange as they benefit from their relationship depending on being/entity users may hosts and their relationship be they a spirit, angel, demon, dimensional entity, deity, or even something as a simple as a parasite-like entity and any powers it gives is likely to vary depending on what it is.

Unlike Parasitism or in some cases a parasitic relationship where the parasite benefits while the host gets harmed, symbiosis benefits both the host and symbiote as they live harmoniously as they should, living, coexisting, and in rare occasions, co-evolving together until they develop an eternal bond. All of this makes a symbiotic relationship more natural and favorable than a parasitic relationship as it harms the hosts in the most dangerous of ways.
