Taking advantage of their fear of fire, Ma'alefa'ak (DC Comics) drove the Green Martian race to extinction using a virus called H'ronmeer's Curse, which set ablaze their bodies whenever they used their telepathy, thus destroying his entire species down to all but few individuals.

The user can instantly end and eradicate a species of creatures from a world/universe, effectively wiping them from the face of history. This ability allows the user to slaughter certain species before they become a threat to the user or their surroundings.

• If there are some survivors of the species, they can reproduce and restore their species
