Capabilities[]

The user has the capabilities to create and assume control of concepts that do not conform to the axioms and principles that reality follows, and are thus considered impossible to exist in reality naturally. These 'meta-concepts' are of an infinite diversity; those on the lower end of the spectrum, so to speak, operate off of similar fundamentals to normal concepts, and as such can be considered merely to be illogical, insane, contradictory or irrational, whilst those further on are utterly beyond all concepts, logic and illogic alike, being completely transcendent of such things. A Logic Manipulator may struggle with these concepts, in the sense that by their nature, they do not conform to the logic of reality (as such logic is generally derived from the basic axioms and principles of reality), instead following their own internal logic, or even none at all.

These concepts can vary dramatically, and examples can include: an irrational form of causality, probabilities that can go beyond one hundred percent or below zero percent, temperatures beyond absolute hot or lower than absolute zero, things going beyond boundaries and infinity, things transcending dualities or surpassing logic, and so on. It is even possible that the concept of absolutes may be considered a meta-concept, as absolutes and abilities derived from them are almost always capable of feats exceeding what is reasonably possible (such as Meta Perspective Manipulation manipulating the perspectives of things that don't have perspectives, or Absolute Strength shattering boundaries through raw power). At the very highest level, the concept of totality itself could be considered a meta-concept, as the full scope of totality inherently includes every possible, impossible, conceivable, inconceivable, comprehensible and ineffable thing. In basic terms, the user transcends all normal understanding.

These "ideas" are by default, inconceivable. While a surface level understanding may be possible, we can't fully understand them even if we tried. To the user, however, these become normal, probably along with everything else. Since these are such alien concepts, the user may need to filter the concepts they use for the sake of those around them and likely reality itself, as many meta-concepts may be hostile to normal reality and the concepts therein (sometimes in a very literal sense). They can potentially interfere with or even outright replace standard concepts, likely with disastrous results.

Applications (General)[]

Applications (Examples)[]

The user would be able to take meta-concepts with similar fundamentals to achieve these capabilities.

Fundamental:[]

Note that these would be at varying levels based on the user's familiarity with meta-concepts and their skill at wielding them.

Low:[]

At this level, many of the applications would be difficult to control and occur unintentionally, should the user attempt to wield meta-concepts they do not fully understand or can control. As the user becomes more familiar with certain meta-concepts, they can begin to cause and control these more precisely.

  • Causality Infringement - even low-level meta-concepts can be utilized to achieve feats that infringe upon causality.
  • Concept Ripping/Destruction - often, the mere presence of meta-concepts is enough to cause tears in the fabric of normal concepts, or even destroy them outright.
  • Insanity Inducement - exposure to meta-concepts can induce insanity in minds without the necessary faculties to withstand it.
  • Paradox Inducement/Existence - the use of meta-concepts often leads to incredibly paradoxical results and, intentionally or not, could turn the user into a living paradox.
  • Physics/Logic Distortion - the mere presence of meta-concepts, unless precisely controlled, can cause chaotic distortions in physics and even logic. At this level, these are often unintentional and dangerous, even to the user.
  • Reality Randomization - without careful control, the use of meta-concepts can lead to chaotic alterations to reality.
  • Undetermined Existence - exposure to and use of meta-concepts can lead to one being completely undefinable by all normal standards.

Middle:[]

As the user becomes more familiar with their power and the meta-concepts they wield, many of the previously uncontrolled distortions become precisely controlled manipulations.

  • Attribute Manipulation - imbuing something with a meta-concept can grant it new attributes, and meta-concepts can be utilized to manipulate attributes.
  • Causality Manipulation - the user can impose meta-concepts pertaining to a foreign form of causality or use meta-concepts that allow for the manipulation of regular causality.
  • Conceptual Infringement - at this point, users are capable of wielding different meta-concepts to infringe upon most normal concepts, ignoring their effects as though they did not exist, though they do not outright transcend them.
  • Elemental/Energy Manipulation - via the use of basic meta-concepts with high similarity to the normal concepts of elements, or the use of meta-concepts allowing for the manipulation of elements, the user can control a vast array of them. These capabilities may manifest before their foreign counterparts, due to being easier to comprehend.
  • Foreign Material/Energy Manipulation - the user can manifest meta-concepts to create and control materials and energies completely foreign to reality on a conceptual level, with impossible properties.
  • Living Anomaly - exposure to and use of meta-concepts can easily turn the user into a living anomaly, existing within the system whilst escaping its rules.
  • Paradox Manipulation - the user can induce, and control paradoxes caused by meta-concepts.
    • Paradox Infringement - at this point, most users will be capable of ignoring the effects of the paradoxes their meta-concepts cause.
    • Paradox Negation - additionally, most users will be capable of completely negating the paradoxes caused by their meta-concepts.
  • Physics Manipulation - by imposing meta-concepts with similar fundamentals to normal physics, but slight differences, or via the use of meta-concepts which allow for the manipulation of physics.
  • Subjective Reality - the boundary between fantasy and reality may very well become irrelevant to the user due to the use of meta-concepts which transcend it entirely, and they are even capable of manifesting objects that exist on both sides of the boundary simultaneously.
  • Variable Manipulation - the user can utilize certain meta-concepts to write and rewrite variables as they wish.
  • Vector Manipulation - certain meta-concepts would allow for complete control over vectors, such as forces and velocity.
  • Virtual Warping - the user can also make incredibly precise, almost computer-like alterations via the controlled implementation of relevant meta-concepts.

High:[]

At this point, users have a high level of control and comprehension over a vast array of meta-concepts and can genuinely be considered to be one of the most powerful beings in existence.

  • Absolute Restoration - as meta-concepts operate off of different axioms to the conventional concepts of 'destruction', 'erasure' and 'irreversibility', the user can wield certain ones to restore anything completely and perfectly.
  • Boundary Manipulation - the user wields meta-concepts completely alien to the concept of boundaries, and so can control and override them in any way they see fit.
  • Incomprehensible Manipulation - due to the nature of their power, the user innately wields power over things that are utterly incomprehensible to virtually all sentient beings.
  • Logic Manipulation - the user possesses control over meta-conceptual variations of logic, allowing them to completely override normal logic in any way they want. These variations of logic may be considered 'higher order logic', due to their meta-conceptual nature, and as such are completely beyond the scope of a normal logic manipulator. It is important to note that these variations of logic have no bearing on meta-concepts beyond themselves, due to the innate nature of meta-concepts.
  • Meta Luck - the user can imbue/manifest within themselves meta-concepts that involve a boundless level of luck, to the point of rewriting reality to the user's benefit.
  • Meta Perspective Manipulation - certain meta-concepts the user can wield allow them to alter the perspective of even things that don't ordinarily have perspectives, such as reality, logic, truth, etc. They may also become capable of making their own perspective completely superior to objective reality, making everything literally whatever they think it is, and making everything subjective to them.
  • Metaphysics Manipulation - users wield a wide variety of meta-conceptual variations of all conventional metaphysical abstracts, allowing them complete, overriding control over all metaphysics and metaphysical phenomena.
  • Meta Probability Manipulation - users possess meta-conceptual forms of probability that can even exceed 100%, or go below 0%, and they can completely override normal probability in any way they desire, irrespective of if it makes sense or not.
  • Meta Variable Manipulation - certain meta-concepts the user can wield allows them to alter the variables of anything, even things that don't have variables.
  • Omnifarious - the user can imbue or manifest within themselves certain meta-concepts, allowing them to assume absolutely any form, irrespective of logic, truth, reality, etc.
  • Origin Manipulation - the user wields meta-concepts which allow them to create, be, alter and control the origin of anything.
  • Phenomenon Manipulation - the user can induce and control phenomena that are manifestations of meta-concepts, or caused by them.
  • Plot Control - the user can wield meta-concepts that involve all of reality as being a narrative, which they control, allowing them to alter the 'plot' of reality itself, changing everything as easily as you could change a story simply by telling it differently.
  • Science-Magic Transcendence - the concepts of science and magic mean very little to the user at this point, and they possess capabilities far beyond both.
    • Meta Magic - due to being able to access meta-conceptual variations of magic, the user possesses the ability to wield magic that goes beyond all rules and laws of magic.
    • Meta Science - due to being able to access meta-conceptual variations of science, the user possesses the ability to wield science that goes beyond the rules and laws of science.
  • Selective Transcendence - at this point, the user possesses complete control over their own transcendence, possibly having transcended transcendence entirely via the implementation of meta-concepts.
  • Tetralogy - the user wields meta-conceptual variations of science, magic, divinity and philosophy, allowing them to completely override and control them and all forces related to them.
  • Truth Manipulation - to the user, the concept of 'truth' is irrelevant, and various meta-conceptual variations of the concept of truth can be enforced, allowing the user to utterly control or override the truth of reality.

Absolute:[]

The highest possible level of Meta-Concept Manipulation. The user can do anything, and nothing can apply to them unless they allow it.

  • Absolute Transcendence/Freedom - the user is no longer bound by any concepts or meta-concepts and exist beyond them all.
    • Autopotence - the user is entirely self-existent, being the only defining factor of their own existence, as anything that could affect or define them is beneath them now.
    • Indeterminacy - no forms of scaling or definition can apply to the user anymore.
  • Absolute Wish - by manifesting particular meta-concepts, the user can perfectly grant any wish, regardless of whether or not it is actually possible.
  • Cosmic Otherness - at this point, the user could easily become a meta-conceptual entity in and of themselves, becoming completely distinct from absolutely everything else.
    • Conceptual Transcendence - as a meta-conceptual entity, the user is completely and totally beyond all conceptualization, and no such ideas can apply to them unless they allow it.
      • Numerical Transcendence - the concepts involved in mathematics, which fundamentally relies on logic, principles and axioms, can no longer apply to the user.
      • Non Created Physiology - as the concept of an origin can no longer apply to the user, they have none, and so must always have existed in some form.
    • Omnilock - as a meta-conceptual entity, the user has no need for anything to exist, allowing them to exist outside of absolutely everything, distinct from all locations.
    • Rule Transcendence - meta-concepts have no care for rules beyond themselves, and so as a meta-conceptual entity, no rules can apply to the user.
  • Meta Stage Manipulation - The user can manipulate the concept of stage/scenario and is capable of manipulating the stage/scenario of all things. One can manipulate any and all types of scenarios, which are always all "Possibilities or perspectives of an event or situation" and the "Set of circumstances that are considered the environment of a person or event" and not just as the "Place where an action or an event takes place" (as many think) encompassing absolutely anything and everything, making them capable of changing, molding, reshaping, creating, destroying, erasing, bestowing, banishing, manipulating, etc.
  • Conceptual Lordship - the user wields absolute power over all meta-concepts, their principles and their axioms, and can perfectly override normal concepts.
    • Conceptual Plane Manipulation - user is capable of getting a hold of the place (or plane of existence) where all forms of concepts and ideas reside and rest, if not originate from.
  • Omnificence - the user can manifest anything through the relevant meta-concept. As they have access to an infinite diversity of them, and can create more on a whim, they can create absolutely anything.
  • Primordial Force Manipulation - the primordial force itself is arguably among the highest of meta-concepts, and so the user can control it.
  • Unity: The user possesses a body made of the totality itself.

Levels[]

  • Low: The users at this stage are limited and/or unstable with their current capabilities. They have a minimal grasp on the alien concepts they can control and are likely only able to use them at full force or all when under emotional stress. Also, tapping into more powerful unorthodox concepts will have major drawbacks, and the repercussions won't be trivial. They also may be unable to create refined concepts or even interfere with normal ones. These users have little power, potentially only capable of using their powers for highly mundane applications. However, they can learn, which is this power's driving force.
  • Middle: At this stage, the user most likely has a good comprehension of the concepts they use and is even more likely stable. They can control more vital abnormal concepts, the drawbacks are reduced, even if by only a bit, and they can do a bit more than the prior mundane applications, likely capable of interfering with ordinary concepts. They can also create less crude meta-concepts that are more usable. These people have combat potential, but there is still room for improvement and a need to learn more.
  • High: This is where the users have far fewer limits and have an impressive comprehension of the meta-concepts they encounter. They can assume control of some of the most abnormal concepts with near-perfect stability and distort earthly concepts even further to near the breaking point. The repercussions of using the power at this point are limited or trivial compared to lower tiers, and they can create impressive new alien concepts. While there is room for improvement and knowledge of use, it is little.
  • Absolute: This is the best of the best, and the users can't improve further. The user has a perfect comprehension of all meta-concepts, no limitation on what they can achieve, and is even capable of altogether ending other concepts. They can perform any feat they wish, whether contradictory, illogical, abnormal, utterly beyond, and transcendent of logic and illogic - the list can go on and on. Repercussions are gone, or so minor as to be unnoticeable, and the user can create concepts incomprehensible to anyone but him/herself. There are no rules to this person, only a kingdom to rule.

Conceptual Levels[]

  • (Basic) Concept Manipulation: This user can manipulate parts, parts of a set, all known parts, or all existent parts of concepts, change concepts and their definition, create new ones by warping a universal idea or create one out of nothing, so long as it is rational, and consistent with preexisting concepts.
  • (Advanced) Conceptual Plane Manipulation: This user is capable of getting a hold of the place (or plane of existence) where all forms of concepts and ideas reside and rest, if not originate from. In difference to Concept Manipulation, this controls concepts to a more marked degree of connection to the point of not only manipulating the concepts' contents themselves but their totality of it.
  • (Nigh-Omnipotent) Meta-Concept Manipulation: Has the capabilities to create and assume control of concepts that do not conform to the axioms and principles that reality follows, and are thus considered impossible to exist in reality naturally. These 'meta-concepts' are of an infinite diversity; those on the lower end of the spectrum, so to speak, operate off of similar fundamentals to normal concepts, and as such can be considered merely to be illogical, insane, contradictory or irrational.
