Capabilities[]
The user is able to use esoteric powers that revolve around Taoism. In order to use these abilities, the user mustn't let go of their desires. They must make a commitment to their desire in order to use these powers. They must set a goal and focus in on it and give into their desire.
Though Esoteric Taoism paves the way to a myriad of abilities, it can be split into two main practices. Waidan and Neidan. Although they are separate, one is to ultimately blend both practices into their craft.
Waidan[]
Waidan, also known as External Alchemy, attuned towards one's physical surroundings and society. It deals with perceiving or understanding the spirit world and interacting with gods and demons. It centers around the outer universe. Everything in Waidan requires a group of three to perform any supernatural feats. These three things must each represent heaven, earth, and man. It is up to the individual to how these three things are represented. This is a heavily personalized process that differs from person to person.
Neidan[]
Neidan, also known as Internal Alchemy, focuses on the body, spirit, and mind in relation to oneself. It about understanding and mastering one's physical body. Neidan also requires the user to practice a different set of a group of three. The user uses their body to cultivate the Three Treasures: Jing, Qi, and Shen. Jing is essence. It is used for creation. It is associated with fertility. Qi is the vital force within one's body. It used for transforming creation into development. Shen is spirit or in modern definition, inner divinity. It is used for transformation.
