Capabilities[]
The user either is or can take on the traits/abilities or even transform into the Tatzelwurm, a mountain dwelling dragon from Alpine folklore that takes the form of a six to seven foot long, wingless serpent with the head and face of a cat, two hind legs and lacking forelegs, some even describing it as being entirely feline but with a serpentine bottom half. The Tatzelwurm is one of the staple Cryptids of Europe, being the subject of countless sightings in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France since the medieval age. The Tatzelwurm has been described as coming in a wide array of colors and patterns, some described it as being a black and bluish silver, green, brown, black and red, and some have even described it as having stripes like a tiger’s.
The Tatzelwurm is described as a very territorial and carnivorous creature that is said to be highly poisonous in all aspects, having a fatally venomous bite and claws, highly toxic breath and acidic blood. The Tatzelwurm is an apex predator and a very intelligent creature using a variety of hunting techniques such as ambushing its prey from above or taking them by surprise from below via burrowing, the Tatzelwurm feeds mostly on blood and has been observed to hunt both during the day and night.
The conflicting physical descriptions, hunting techniques and the sheer number of sightings over the decades has led some Cryptozoologists to believe there are multiple varieties of Tatzelwurm and being a possible, undiscovered species rather than a mythological dragon. It’s possible that because of their serpentine nature the Tatzelwurm is antisocial, like snakes.
