Capabilities[]

The user can disrupt, disable, and completely negate any technological function, rendering all forms of machinery, electronics, and digital systems useless in their presence. Whether advanced supercomputers, autonomous weapons, cybernetic enhancements, or even simple mechanical devices, all technology ceases to operate as intended when subjected to this power. Circuits overload, processors fail, and wireless signals are drowned in static, severing all forms of digital communication. Even purely mechanical devices experience inexplicable malfunctions—gears jam, engines seize, and the simplest mechanisms refuse to function.

This negation extends beyond mere deactivation; technology does not just turn off—it crashes, as if its very essence is being denied. The most sophisticated artificial intelligences become incoherent, their algorithms unraveling into gibberish, while even manual overrides and failsafe measures prove ineffective. Cybernetically enhanced beings find themselves cut off from their mechanical augmentations, limbs becoming dead weight, sensory enhancements failing, and implants rendered inert. No matter how advanced or encrypted, no form of technological power can withstand this ability. Additionally, the user can negate any sort of powers or skills that involve technological aspects, whether natural, physical, or supernatural. This includes the ability to cause or prevent power drainage of technology, halt or induce EMPs, trigger system errors or bugs, spread or neutralize computer virus infections, and manipulate connections, programs, and functionality—whether ensuring proper operation or inducing malfunction.

The reach of this power is not limited to direct interaction. Electronic surveillance fails to capture or track the user, security cameras display only static, and automated systems falter without explanation. The effects can be temporary or permanent, depending on the user’s control and intent—some devices may recover after a time, while others remain irreparably damaged. This influence also scales to counter even the most reality-defying technological abilities, rendering technomancy and digital-based superpowers completely ineffective in the user's presence.

The more reliant a world is on technology, the more devastating this power becomes. In a highly digitized society, infrastructure collapses, financial systems are thrown into chaos, and entire networks are rendered obsolete. Those who wield this ability are walking blackouts, a constant anomaly that no amount of technological advancement can counteract. Against them, the greatest weapons of modern and futuristic warfare are nothing more than lifeless husks, while those who depend on technology for survival find themselves utterly powerless.
