The power to move, manipulate or otherwise interact with objects/matter without physical means. Sub-power of Telekinesis Manipulation. Not to be confused with Telepathy or Psychokinesis.

Capabilities

The user has telekinesis, the ability to manipulate or otherwise interact with matter or another aspect of a physical system through non-physical means. Commonly, its most fundamental trait is to move and control objects (or to generate and apply physical force on a target, or potentially, an area) without physical contact.

The most common form of telekinesis in fiction is psychokinesis and the terms are often used interchangeably as the former is often still linked to the user's mind to some degree, commonly with some outside force acting as an interface or Medium Manipulation for the user's mind to interact externally through, often with additional guidance through the use of gestures and general bodily motion. Such mediums typically manifest as some kind of field composed of manipulated energy, pure physical forces such as kinetic energy, or even some form of matter. Whether centered on or extending beyond the user’s position, these fields function as an extension of the user and are capable of interacting with a target, allowing the user to mentally influence it with varying degrees of accuracy and precision depending on their control over their field. In extreme examples, the power can be so extensive as to allow for the user to passively influence matter and affect their environment with their Presence alone.

However, strictly speaking Psychokinesis refers to Telekinesis achieved with psionic/psychic power. Telekinesis can refer to a variety of different means of influencing matter or energy from a distance. For example, a magical spell that lets someone control and otherwise affect objects at a range is a non-psychic form of Telekinesis. For a more science fictional example, devices that bend gravity to remotely move matter around could be considered to grant telekinesis. Any power that allows for the distant movement, control or interaction of something, regardless of how far that distance is or the exact means by which it is accomplished can be considered a form of the ability.

Telekinesis is the basis of many superpowers based on "controlling/manipulating" subjects. It may evolve to the point that a telekinetic can control things on a subatomic level. Extreme cases could see users who can use their telekinesis to move planets or stars. At the furthest extremes, its influence can expand to affect facets of reality other than matter or energy, such as space and time.

Applications

Similar to "Telepathy", "Telekinesis" is an umbrella term for any ability that involves controlling/manipulating some form of matter/object at a distance.

Telekinesis:

Matter Manipulation - Can shape and manipulate matter, i.e. anything.

  - Matter Absorption - Can absorb matter, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways.
  - Matter Creation - Can create any type of artificial, organic and inorganic matter.

  - Telekinetic Agility: To increase the user's agility, e.g. dodging high-speed projectiles.
  - Telekinetic Durability: To increase the user's durability, e.g. withstanding getting shot.

  - Telekinetic Reflexes: To increase the user's physical reflexes, e.g. seeing high-speed objects moving slower.

  - Telekinetic Speed: To increase the user's speed, e.g. outrunning a speeding vehicle.

Cosmic Telekinesis:

Cosmic Manipulation - Can create, shape, absorb and manipulate cosmic forces and energies to produce nearly any effect they desire.
- Cosmic Aura - Can surround themselves in cosmic energy.
- Cosmic Attacks - Can release/use cosmic energy to attacks of various shapes and/or intensities.
- Cosmic Awareness - Aware of anything that on a universal scale.
- Cosmic Constructs - Can turn cosmic energy/substances into different shapes, materials and other substances.

- The level of such power is so great that users can resist, smash through, and become immune to laws, natures, illness, etc., through sheer force and strength alone. Strong enough users may be able to negate durability and possibly defy logic itself.
Ultimate Power
- Wield endless power at their disposal, they can enhance and modify themselves indefinitely and they can take personal and unique form of their very own making, they can empower their conditions, traits, physiology, body, skills and their own inherent powers to their utmost potential, as the can make themselves as godlike beings who have transcended the boundaries of their own limitation that can reach cosmic scales and beyond.

Levels

Telekinesis: Basic beginner who has just acquired their powers. It's related to Psionics.
- Capabilities: The user can bend and shape the matter with their mind and achieve some desired results. The user at this level can influence the environment, such as manipulating the objects and living things in the environment, controlling the people around, etc.
- Limitations: The user at this level cannot affect very long distances except in the immediate area. The user has not yet learned and does not know the techniques. Yet their power is not at the cosmic level, nor is it unlimited.
Omni-Telekinesis: Advanced user who is adept at using his powers. It's related to Omni-Psionics.
- Capabilities: The user can use all telekinetic techniques and manipulate matter deftly/masterfully. The user achieves various achievements by using techniques, body building, remote telekinesis benefiting from stealth, using telekinesis for attack and defense, for flying, for creating matter and so on.
- Limitations: Their power is not at the cosmic level, nor is it unlimited. These users are powerful and capable enough to use all techniques, but their power is neither cosmic scale nor limitless. These users can achieve many kinds of success, but they still have great shortcomings.
Cosmic Telekinesis: Universally extremely powerful user with cosmic scale power. It's related to Cosmic Psionics.
- Capabilities: The user can manipulate and shape matter on a cosmic scale. Users at this level achieve cosmic-scale achievements by bending matter on a cosmic scale, such as manipulating earths and planets, exploiting suns and stars, and destroying asteroids and shooting stars.
- Limitations: The power of the user is not unlimited no matter how cosmic scale it is, yet the power potential is not enough to do everything. The user needs to learn their strengths and abilities over time and develop themselves with practice, which shows how precious time is for these power users.
Absolute Telekinesis: Extremely powerful but inexperienced users with an unlimited amount of power. It's related to Absolute Psionics.
- Capabilities: The user has unlimited and infinite psychic potential and power. Users can thus do things, break their limits and reach higher levels, both at previous levels and beyond. With time and effort, they can reach the Telekinetic Godhood level and increase their potential even more.
- Limitations: The user's potential is infinite but has not yet reached the full potential. Reaching the Nigh-Omnipotence level requires a great deal of effort and time for users. The user does not yet know everything about its absolute power and will have to master it over time.
Telekinetic Godhood: Nearly omnipotent users with almost infinite potential to do almost anything possible. It's related to Psionic Godhood.
- Capabilities: The User is a Nigh-Omnipotence level Telekinetic, can manipulate almost anything. The user can do almost anything, skillfully use their powers and abilities, and achieve incredible success. It can make metaphysical changes as well as physical changes.
- Limitations: This user's only limit is Almighty Telekinesis, cannot complete potential without attaining Almighty Telekinesis.
Almighty Telekinesis: Omnipotent users with endless potential to do anything possible. It's related to Almighty Mind.
- Capabilities: The user is an Omnipotence level Telekinetic, able to manipulate anything and everything. This user has no limits, it is one of a kind.

Limitations

Telekinesis Immunity
Might not affect users of Indomitable Will.
Psionic to Telekinesis Negation, and Psychic Energy Absorption can negate this power.
May not be able to create/generate matter/objects.
May be able to affect only targets that they can physically perceive or that are within a certain range and distance from them.
User may not be able to affect objects above a certain momentum or that are already moving.
An opponent with greater physical strength than the user's mental strength may break free, or even be immune to the ability altogether.
Might be weakened, nullified or interrupted by stress, fear, distractions, disbelief, lack of confidence, and willpower, etc.
Might be linked to or unwittingly triggered by emotions, thoughts, dreams, causing the user to be unable to control or possibly even access their ability.
May require intense amounts of concentration, focus, and mental effort to use properly, preventing the user from being able to perform other tasks at the same time, to the point where the user may be completely unable to move while using the ability.
Use of the ability may be channeled through the motion of the eyes, hands, or fingers and the user may need to perform specific gestures to utilize the ability, such as touch their heads, meaning that their abilities could be nullified if the user is unable to move their bodies or visualize their target.
User may not have control over the speed of which the target moves.
Might be physically or psychologically fatiguing, straining, or even crippling for the user, with the user either bleeding from the nose or eyes, falling unconscious, entering a coma, or even dying from the mental effort of using the ability.
May not be able to manipulate magic-based matters/energies.
Could be ineffective against those who control themselves at fundamental levels.
User may only be able to manipulate targets after touching them.
User may only be able to manipulate inorganic targets.
