The power to replay and redo events to build up effects and damage in time. Sub-power of Temporal Reload. Not to be confused with Action Replay or Temporal Replay.
Also Called[]
- Temporal Do-Over
- Temporal Redo/Replay Effect
- Temporal Replay-Redo
Capabilities[]
The user can create a replay effect in time that amplifies the results of an action or event with each use. Instead of rewinding or recreating the event itself, this power enhances its effects, causing exponential escalation. For instance, a punch that initially causes moderate damage can deal significantly more harm with subsequent replays, as the force and impact compound over time. Similarly, a kick that moves an object a certain distance will propel it farther with each repetition, increasing its momentum and power.
When applied to energy-based attacks, such as explosions or energy blasts, Temporal Redo focuses on amplifying their effects rather than replicating the attack. The damage inflicted on living beings intensifies, with injuries worsening dramatically, such as burns deepening or internal trauma becoming life-threatening. Environmental impacts, such as craters, shockwaves, or structural destruction, become increasingly severe as the replay effect magnifies the initial aftermath. Additionally, residual energy effects, like lingering radiation, heat, or elemental forces, grow more potent with each activation, creating an ever-escalating hazard.
This power allows the user to selectively target specific effects, amplifying damage to a single enemy, intensifying environmental destruction, or focusing on other consequences. Each replay compounds the previous results, causing exponential growth in severity.
