During Knull's conquest of the universe, i wait for him to be defeated by Thor and join the Klyntar in their rebellion against him. In the process i gain a symbiote and aid them for sometime as an agent of the cosmos. Once the bond between me and my symbiote has been solidified, i travel around searching for and consuming feral symbiotes and their hosts, as well as certain other lifeforms. Eventually i enhance my base form and bond further with my symbiote. Our minds become one and with that symbiote creation is achieved.

personally I would like to think I would use this power to explore the various planes, realms, dimensions, and so on of reality but realistically speaking this power carries too many risks and unknowns to be of much practical value. after all interacting with other people is already challenging even for the most socially adapt and those are beings who belong to the same species as other humans. beings from other realities, planes, realms, and so on could come in any of innumerable forms. while I do not deny that such a power would present the possibility of learning beyond any science can realistically offer it also presents dangers and risks that should they manifest themselves would most likely have consequences that are the about as definitively undesirable as any I know of. in short while this power is fascinating and enticing it also seems best to leave the various realms, planes, and so on to their own devices and let them interact with each other as fate or chance occasion.

I'd use it to escape the drudgery of my normal life.

I doubt there is anyone alive or dead that lacked that same wish but even so I ask you this. would you be prepared to live a life that however adventurous and exciting it might seem or even be at first would still pose risks barely conceivable to even the most imaginative sci - fi fan? and if you did obtain this power would you be willing to use it knowing that once you did you would likely never be able to return to your previous existence (for any of nearly endless reasons)? answer me those questions and if you yourself are dissatisfied with the answers than think on what that might mean.

My only concern is for the welfare of my cat. If I could, I'd take him with me.

Also, who says I can't return whenever I like? If this power functions properly, it should allow complete control over the destination.
