  • Picture this: it’s a normal day and you’re going about your business. All of a sudden, you hear the news that out there in the world is a human- a young man or woman- who has absolute omnipotence. Their power defeats the omnipotence paradox. They have more power than God, TOAA in the MCU, The Presence in DC put together. They have the power to do whatever they wanted, with no restrictions. They have COMPLETE ABSOLUTE POWER. In 2019, in our normal world, how would everyone react to this revelation of this omnipotent person walking around? News channels? Governments? The entire world? Your social circle? You? What would you imagine happening to this omnipotent person? This actual God/Goddess walking around on our planet?

    • In short, terrible...

    • Can you expand? What would you imagine happening? This question is open to everyone.

    • There would be people who’d doubt this and say it’s fake, but some would believe and either worship or live in fear. For example, this omnipotent person could snap one day and decide to kill everyone in the world one by one.

    • Okay...how would you think governments would react? Can anyone else expand on the effects of everything because of this one person?

    • Is there anyone who can really describe what would you realisitcally imagine to happen, in 2019, if this was found to be true?

Be really detailed if you can! Thank you!

    • You're assuming this person allows anyone to react. They could just as easily wipe all memory of their power from humanities memory or just annihilate the entire universe. I'd question how the young man or woman with the power themselves would react first, then go onto the reactions of those around them.

    • If you were omnipotent, you wouldn't be human, you would be God.

      When you are completely correct.

    • i'd be terrified at first, but if the omnipotent being was a nice person and wouldn't kills us all, I would probably want to be his friend.

He's correct. You would be A god. Not necessarily THE God. THE God is defined by who sits on the throne as the king of the gods. And to answer this. That being would be myself. I'm actually over 800,000 years old, one of the first human souls originally. During the last purge God king destroyed all but 20 million of us(est). I didn't gain residence in the heavens and sainthood until 2,000 years ago though(GIVE YOU AN IDEA HOW HARD IT CAN BE) when i was martyr'd protecting some holy men in the Colosseum from an 800 lb African lion. I wasn't even trying to be a martyr i just wanted to fight imo. In this life on descent down(because i was bored of starring at blue skies and my green grass field all the time) a witch and a god intercepted my soul and i became a demi-god. Mind you i still have a divine soul and a very very old one at that, on top of being one of the first souls who were far superior(these new ones that you probably have are only 10,000 years old. That's an infant) Anyway, when cosmic beings/i.e "gods" pass on their spirit, it's like you passing on DNA. We inherit our parents spirit and ALL of their powers. My spiritual father is Apollyon the destroyer, the biggest baddest god of destruction you want to avoid. God kings right hand at that, who he sends to...destroy. That includes satan during the apocalypse. SIN BURNS TO DESTRUCTION. Remember that. Out of all the few times i've gone full destroyer, "you can burn now or later" That one i remember saying of all. That is you can burn in Yeshua "jesus" Redeeming light or you can burn in destructive fire until you repent or be destroyed entirely. "GODS" Are ALL called SHINNING ONES. Deities are dark gods, fallen. They're still gods though. God= Means master/lord. You humans cling to power. I've since gained kingship over the earth(not the way you're thinking, i can cause earth quakes and such) the morning star(highest holy title possible and highest godhood status) and become a "true hero". So in terms of my power level, i creep out the king of the gods or GOD. This may be do to him giving my spiritual father the ability to cause fear in all beings of creation, so it's amplified with me, letting my mere presence(of my words) effect even him. The government... the REAL Government, material Kings of earth, well lets say they shouldn't have done what they did with me when i was a child. Not smart to toy with the memories of a being that all of creation fears, including fear its self. My normal soul form, exactly like Dr. Manhattan actually, but lightning coming off. My destroyer form, Goat legs, long monster claw hands, jagged monster mouth like when a kid draws one, horns, fire orange eyes and covered in blue flames. :) best of all. I can't be utterly destroyed(sarcasm) Can't destroy destruction. Not even when GOD King tried, this disturbed him. Surprised me..and kind of pissed me off. That's why i give Zero F**ks about this... that and it's the TRUTH---woooo scary word. TRUTH. In theory though i should be able to really think about it and will it, i could end all of creation entirely. But then i'd probably have to become new God king and shit....honestly. Who wants all that paper work. F**K that. He can keep his job.

    • It depends upon what the omnipotent being does and how he interacts with the world. (see Dr Manhattan) If he is benevolent and shows himself as someone who can defend Earth and it's nations from threats by other countries that break the Geneva convention, or those which are dangerous, he will be seen as a protector and a source of good, if he is indifferent completely and does what he wants or only serves his own interests (see Tom Bombadil) then people will either hate him for not helping them at all, or not care about him, that is if he even decides to reveal himself. If he is malevolent and does what he wants, has disregard for humanity and subjugates people with his will they shall ally to destroy him and hate him, their will also be those who worship him for salvation or fanaticism. In all applications of omnipotence people will be jealous of him and try and take his power or study him to gain power of their own. All of these examples can applied to the abrahamic gods and how they are viewed by their worshipers.
