Users of this ability can take on the traits of a demonic toy, which is a specific kind of possessed object in fiction and folklore that often manifests as dolls, action figures or other toy-like entities but unlike true toys, they are not actually "living" toys so much as demonic spirits that inhabit these objects, often to mock and terrorize others.

Demonic toys take advantage of the child-like innocence many associate with toys and thus are highly dangerous and corruptive beings with a wide array of powers, some seek to be free of their toy-like bodies while others are happy to remain as such, all of them seek misery and harm to the mortal world.

Sometimes a demonic toy is not actually a full-on demon but an extremely evil mortal who survives via transferring their soul into a toy or whose ghost inhabits the item - these can be just as dangerous as true demons.
