Users with this ability are afflicted with a degenerative curse due to prolonged evil acts. This transforms them into monstrous forms with fantastical abilities, usually at the cost of becoming addicted to evil acts.
The degeneration can start slow or be a rapid change, but if left unchecked, it can transform the individual into a demon or other negative-aligned creature, due to deforming not just the body and mind but the very soul itself.
Evil Degeneracy is one of many sub-types of degenerative curses and thus, is reserved for individuals who succumb to all (or a great many) of the traditional "Deadly Sins" or other vices.

- As a cursed state this inevitably weakens an individual in some fashion, be it body, mind or spirit.
- Prolonged degeneracy may result in destruction or demonization.
- Purification abilities may be able to reverse the degenerative qualities; in this case good-based abilities are especially potent.
- Often become addicted to evil acts or abilities.
