- "Sunshine is my destroyer!"
- ― Darkness (Legend 1985 film)
The condition to become weaker when exposed and/or coming in contact to/with the light and/or light-based energies. Variation of Aversion. Opposite to Light Empowerment and Darkness Aversion.
Also Called[]
- Light Weakening/Vulnerability
- Light Weakness/Limitation/Disability
- Photonic Aversion
Effects[]
As a trait, those effected by this become weaker when they come in contact with the light and/or light-based energies; UV/solar and even divine/holy light seem to be the main forms of light to inflict harm or some type of weakness in certain entities. They become weakened by anything related to these things which can even nullify any existing powers the entities effected by it may have, and/or having physical effects on their bodies. Long-term exposure to the light may result in fatal bodily conditions and/or even death, which can include the entities body spontaneously combusting in fiery flames.
Vampires and certain types of mutants and demons are prime examples of those who are deeply affected by the light as it can cause them extreme pain, burning and even death.
