The user has access to an amulet that grants them supernatural powers, these can be objects of great power as either magical or technological artifacts that represent medallion or lockets that contain said powers in order to be properly utilize for it to used. If the user already possesses supernatural abilities, the amulets are mostly meant for letting them access and/or enhance their powers or grant them new abilities.

Loch-ets (Happy Ness: The Secret of the Loch) are magical lockets who nessies wears that each capable of performing a "Ness Bless", making its target temporarily feel the same as the caster. In addition, the Loch-ets protect the wearers from prying eyes, rendering them invisible to all but other Nessies and their trusted human friends.
On her forehead, Wojira (Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu) had two large smileys, which she to control the elements of storm and wave, which she combined with her own elements of wind and water to create the Fury of the Storm and rule over the endless sea. This made her even formidable for the First Spinjitzu Master to fight her, as those elements weren't his to fully control when she was around.
