Effects

A power or a set of powers is delivered to a character who possesses or uses an empowering gauntlet, which itself is supernatural and/or advanced technology. The level of power will vary substantially depending upon the gauntlet, with some gauntlets bestowing limited combat enhancements and other objects, particularly those of Divine Power, enabling vast destructive power and Reality Warping. Most supernatural gauntlets and some high-technology gauntlets will possess a sentient nature which allows the gauntlet to understand and complete the will of its wielder. The design of the gauntlet incorporates blades, artistic symbolism, and other features that support particular tasks or reflect the gauntlet's inner nature and power. If the user of an empowered gauntlet already possesses supernatural abilities, the gauntlet may enhance these powers in addition to grant new abilities.
