After his soul ascended to Heaven, the physical remains of Cornell (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow) arose as the first werewolf, the Dark Lord of Lycanthropes.
Lucian (Underworld series) was born with a human form from the body of his werewolf mother, enabling him to have a wide variety of powers beyond werewolves, and have abilities far greater than any other of his new species that would become known as the Lycans.
