- Users of Indomitable Will /Psychic Shield (highly resistant) and Psychic Immunity (impervious).
- May need to know if the person is lying in order to activate this power in the first place.
- Only guarantees the person is telling the truth to their knowledge. If they are misinformed, the truth may be misleading, or they may know nothing about the subject at all.
- May require asking someone a question to make the power work.
- Likewise, the user must speak, and the target must listen and tell, so it is ineffective if the user is gagged or if the target can't hear or speak.
- Unless trained, they can't make anyone tell the truth through gestures or writings.
- May require eye contact for power to work.
- Unless they are fluent in linguistics or can somehow make the target automatically speak in a specific language, such as English, the power may not work if the person is speaking in another language.
- May only work on sapient beings and creatures, like humans, so, unless it automatically makes them speak or are sapient, will not work on animals or feral creatures.
