The power to manipulate turbulence energy. Sub-power of Fluid Manipulation. Variation of Energy Manipulation and Kinetic Energy Manipulation. Not to be confused with Rotational Energy Manipulation.
Also Called[]
- Turbulence/Turbulent Kinetic Energy Control/Manipulation
- Turbulent Energy Control/Manipulation
Capabilities[]
The user can manipulate turbulence energy, the kinetic energy of eddies in the turbulent motion. Eddies are essentially alterations in fluid flow that deviate from a main source into swirling patterns that also include a reversed current. They come about through different ways, often from obstacles interfering with the normal movement of water or air causing said elements to spin in turbulent fashion. Turbulence energy refers to the intensity of the irregularity of the flow and is determined as the root mean square of flow velocity fluctuation. This type of movement plays a major role in the movement of material like sediments and gases and formation of water and weather systems. Stronger energy leads to more powerful disturbances.
Users with this power can alter the intensity of turbulent flow, leading to the creation of powerful hydrological or meteorological phenomena (such as whirlpools and cyclones) or conversely, the negation of such effects.
