The power to unconsciously distort/warp reality. Variation of Mentifery. Combination of Reality Warping and Subconscious Manifestation.
Also Called[]
- Automatic/Spontaneous Warping
- Passive Reality Manipulation
- Subconscious/Subconsciously Warping
- Subconscious/Unconscious Reality Distortion/Warping
- The Subconscious that Distorts Reality
Capabilities[]
The user can unconsciously distort reality. It is not necessary to take any conscious action. User may or may not be aware that they are unconsciously distorting reality. Users who are aware of their situation may be better adapted to power. For example, if they want to be rich, their subconscious mind will step in, and they will find a way to make the rich. It could be getting promoted at work or it could be winning while gambling.
Unlike many reality-bending powers, Unconscious Warping requires no conscious effort. The user's subconscious desires and emotions act as the trigger, shaping reality without their active participation. Some users are completely oblivious to their power, attributing their good fortune or misfortunes to external factors. Others may have a vague sense of their influence, noticing patterns of coincidences and unexpected events. Full awareness of the power is rare but can offer some control and adaptation.
The warping of reality is driven by the user's deepest wants and fears. This can result in both positive and negative consequences. For example, someone desiring wealth might find themselves unexpectedly receiving a promotion or winning at gambling, while someone plagued by fear of heights might experience elevator malfunctions or vertigo-inducing situations. The power can subtly influence chance, aligning events with the user's subconscious desires. This might manifest as lucky streaks or unexpected opportunities for those seeking success, or a string of bad luck for those consumed by negative emotions.
Due to its passive nature, Unconscious Warping is difficult to control. Users are often at the mercy of their own subconscious, which can be unpredictable and volatile. However, some may develop techniques to manage their emotions and desires, mitigating the power's negative effects.

- User may unwillingly reform themselves into an entirely different entity due to self-loathing/hopes and dreams/etc.
- May require the user to sleep and dream in order to direct the effects, such as dreaming of sweets causing the world to warp into a parody of Candyland, with a dreamless unconsciousness resulting in nothing, or even just being unable to use this ability while awake.
