User with this ability either is or can transform into a Ningyo. (literally:Fish Human) Anciently, it was described with a monkey’s mouth with small teeth like a fish’s, shining golden scales, and a quiet voice like a skylark or a flute. Its flesh is pleasant-tasting, and anyone who eats it will attain remarkable longevity. However, catching a ningyo was believed to bring storms and misfortune, so fishermen who caught these creatures were said to throw them back into the sea. A ningyo washed onto the beach was an omen of war or calamity.



Types of Ningyo:



  • Maybe user lost control to his transformation
  • May have complications when transitioning from water to air.
  • Ability to remain out of water varies: some are completely unable to breathe air and begin immediately suffocate out of water, others are able to breathe air but need to stay wet to avoid drying, and others being able to stay on land for prolonged periods of time with little to no ill effects.
  • Scales and skin may dry when overexposed to the Sun or artificial heat, such as fires or heaters.
  • May be vulnerable to certain diseases.
