Martin Birmingham Brooker, also known as Gamma, is Hekon's younger brother. Due to a series of unfortunate events, he is "cursed" to live forever together with his brother.

Appearance[]

Martin, much like his brother, is a man of great stature, with a athletic and defined built. His skin is white, he has green eyes, and his hair is blonde and curly (with bangs that covers his left eye due to aesthetics).

His common outfit consists on a white formal suit, it being a tuxedo, trousers and shoes in the already mentioned color, and a green scarf around his neck. His tuxedo has a black shirt underneath, together with a green tie.

Personality[]

Martin is the polar opposite of his brother Hekon. Unlike Hekon, he exudes a sense of calmness, kindness, compassion, and gentleness. However, a series of unfortunate events and a lifetime of mistreatment by his own brother have left Martin in a state of deep depression, anxiety, and bitterness. He yearns for an end to his existence, longing for eternal rest.

The source of Martin's self-loathing lies squarely with Hekon, his brother. Constant exposure to Hekon's reality-altering abilities has bestowed upon Martin a set of powers that allow him to "tolerate" the chaotic universe molded by Hekon. When Hekon granted immortality to their parents and siblings, it plunged them into despair and madness. In an act of mercy, Martin absorbed their life forces, releasing them from their torment. Yet, this act only intensifies Martin's self-hatred and animosity towards his brother.

Through the absorption of their life forces, Martin unwittingly triggered an existential paradox within the universe, resulting in his attaining absolute-level immortality. Now burdened with eternal life, he finds himself consumed by depression, yearning for someone to end his existence. However, he holds out hope of finding someone who genuinely loves and admires him before meeting his ultimate demise.

Despite harboring deep resentment towards his brother, Martin continues to reside with him out of necessity, lacking alternative options. At some point, he managed to steal an interdimensional-traveling device from Scientia, using it to explore different dimensions and escape the infernal reality he experienced with his brother. As he delves deeper into his journey, he gradually realizes the true monstrosity that Hekon embodies. Though he once held onto the hope that Timothy would redeem himself, Martin now desires for someone to defeat Hekon once and for all, giving him a reason to persist rather than simply succumbing to his own desire for death.

Superhuman Physiology: Due to being constantly and indirectly exposed to Hekon's reality-warping abilities, Martin's physiology underwent a profound transformation, evolving into that of a superhuman.
