Pontrax is a cosmic entity known to be a Domainless One, and also be the mind behind the infamous Heralds of Pontrax.

Appearance

Pontrax, through his main avatar, is that of a skinny (but toned) humanoid child-like boy with a pale skin, short and messy orange hair, and orange eyes. His "clothing" is that of a shiny white bodysuit with a white waist-cape.

But, his true form is very difficult to be understood, although he still retains the characteristics of his avatars, like an overall orange color.

Personality

Pontrax, a renowned entity, is characterized by his insatiable curiosity and his relentless pursuit of understanding the existence, goals, and purpose of lesser beings. However, beneath his curiosity lies a darker side—he is sociopathic, manipulative, detached, apathetic, and obnoxious. He possesses no qualms about annihilating entire civilizations and universes if it aligns with his desires. Despite these traits, he genuinely considers his heralds as his own children, treating them with utmost respect and honor, a sentiment that is reciprocated by them.

Driven by an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Pontrax sought out heralds who could carry out his bidding, as long as their actions served his interests in some way or another. His obsession with gaining experience and knowledge stems from his desire to comprehend mortal nature, finding gods and other transcendent beings mundane due to their monotonous lives.

However, Pontrax is not entirely malevolent. He possesses the ability to recognize the potential in strong beings, primarily mortals, which captivates his interest. He may even bestow a certain reward upon those who manage to impress him. If an individual proves themselves truly worthy, such as by defeating one of his heralds and demonstrating exceptional prowess, Pontrax may extend an invitation to become one of his heralds and grant them cosmic power.

Biography

In the vast tapestry of existence, where gods and cosmic entities shaped reality with their divine might, Pontrax emerged as an enigmatic force, a Domainless One with a purpose that transcended the comprehension of lesser beings. Born from the merging of Chaos and Atto, two incomprehensibly powerful entities, Pontrax's existence was an anomaly in the multiverse.

At his core, Pontrax was insatiably curious, driven by a relentless thirst for knowledge, understanding, and experience. Unlike the gods and cosmic entities who stagnated in their monotonous existence, Pontrax sought to unravel the mysteries of the universe, to fathom the nature of lesser beings, and to discover the hidden truths that eluded even the most ancient of cosmic entities.

In his pursuit of understanding, Pontrax realized that the true source of knowledge lay in the experiences of mortal beings. Mortals, with their brief and fragile lives, possessed a depth of experience that transcended the gods' comprehension. It was mortals who faced the trials of existence, who grappled with fear, love, ambition, and despair. To Pontrax, the lives of mortals were a wellspring of knowledge, waiting to be tapped.

To further his goals, Pontrax began seeking out beings of great potential, primarily mortals, who could act as his heralds in the multiverse. These heralds would carry out his bidding, furthering his understanding of existence. They became extensions of his insatiable curiosity, agents of his cosmic quest. Pontrax's obsession with mortals and their potential grew, and he watched with fascination as some individuals displayed extraordinary prowess. Those who managed to impress him might be offered the chance to become his heralds, bestowed with cosmic power and elevated to a position of importance in the multiverse. However, it wasn't just his insatiable curiosity that defined Pontrax.

As eons passed, Pontrax's reputation as the greatest manipulator in the multiverse spread far and wide. His inscrutable motives, his insatiable curiosity, and his dark tendencies made him both a figure of awe and fear. Mortals whispered his name in reverence or dread, never quite sure whether his intentions were benevolent or malevolent. Pontrax's cosmic influence extended to magic as well. He became one of the primary magical sources in the universe, channeled by countless magicians who sought to harness his boundless power. This, too, added to his mystique and influence. Despite his godlike abilities, Pontrax remained forever dissatisfied, haunted by a sense of inadequacy in the face of the vastness of existence.

Occasionally, he entertained the idea of creating a human avatar and dwelling among Earth's people to directly satisfy his curiosity about them. Yet, such thoughts were fleeting, for Pontrax was a being who defied understanding, a cosmic enigma who would continue to traverse the multiverse in pursuit of knowledge, his insatiable curiosity a guiding star through the cosmos.

• Nigh-Omniscience: Pontrax stands as one of the most brilliantly intelligent beings to grace the cosmic stage, surpassed in intellect only by entities of the caliber of Atto. His cognitive prowess transcends the boundaries of mere intelligence, for he possesses a mind that functions as the very keystone of the cosmos. Within the kaleidoscope of the multiverse, Pontrax perceives knowledge as a symphony of ever-shifting patterns, each thread woven into the fabric of existence. Pontrax's cognitive expanse knows no bounds, and he has woven an understanding that encompasses nearly every facet of existence. Yet, he bears a keen discernment, choosing to remain untethered from non-linear knowledge or any truths he may consciously elect to overlook.

• His Three Forces are not completely unlimited (although they are really powerful), and every time the "stock" of one of them runs out, the other two will not be as effective as normal.

Having unlimited power... kinda sucks, really. Look at me as an example. I had to look BELOW to truly seek a purpose! I had to look upon mortals! Humans! Beings that the gods doesn't even bother about, not even a little. I'm pathetic, huh?

The forces that I do show control over, are what keeps this multiverse stable in its own structural reality. Space, time, energy, matter, elements, magic, science... are simply but nothing compared to the Three Forces itself!

• Due to his nature, he is the closest thing to be the "Embodiment of Mystery".
• Pontrax's heralds includes: Neon, Uranus (Victoria Martinez), Unit-Clash 50, and the Starborn Twins (Xylen and Zyra).
• His power is a certain metaphor for universal natures, being:
  • Big Bang Force: Force origin of everything, and also Cosmic Power itself;
  • Quantum Force: Force that shapes everything, and also Science itself;
  • Mystical Force: Force that keeps everything, and also Magic itself.
• He is one of the entities/gods that does not have any domain, as his goals and natural nature are strange, and therefore, he does not have a title.
• He is similar to Galactus (Marvel Comics), but it's not completely inspired, as I created Pontrax with very different characteristics from him.
• Not only Chaos is his father, but also, Pontrax is an aspect of him.
