Infinite power? Layers of realities? Heh... those things doesn't matter to me. I'm just someone who writes stories. And you're part of them.
The Author is the supreme being of Cronikus, and as well the overaching protagonist of the entire series.
Appearance[]
The Author's primary avatar, the form he adopts to interact with his story, takes on the appearance of a humanoid man. This avatar possesses white skin, unruly jet-black hair, and eyes that are entirely devoid of color, appearing as stark, soulless white orbs. Clad in a casual ensemble, he dons a white sweater paired with black trousers and gray slippers. Interestingly, his avatar is consistently depicted with a coffee mug in hand, a quirk that adds an element of peculiarity to his character.
In stark contrast, The Author's "true nature" transcends human comprehension, devoid of any discernible characteristics or form. This aspect of his existence exists beyond the bounds of traditional understanding, representing an enigmatic and unfathomable presence within the narrative.
Personality[]
The Author exists within the confines of the narrative with two distinct in-universe "natures." In his avatar, he displays a nuanced personality, manifesting as somewhat sarcastic, extroverted, and laid-back. Alongside these traits, he radiates curiosity and maintains a relaxed demeanor, often engaging in dialogue with an astonishingly casual tone. Curiously, he perpetually carries a coffee mug, even though necessity doesn't apply to him. His character embodies the essence of chillness, exuding an easy-going and friendly disposition. Intriguingly, he finds a peculiar enjoyment in witnessing conflicts, as they serve as the driving force behind a compelling story.
Despite his godly status, The Author remains notably devoid of arrogance and egotism. His identity is not strictly confined to a particular gender, but he leans toward assuming a predominantly male form. This choice stems from his personal preference rather than any inherent necessity. His overarching concern always revolves around his narrative and creations. Every character and element, regardless of their placement in the hierarchy, holds significant value to him. As a writer, the story itself is his paramount focus, transcending all else.
In contrast to his more personable avatar, The Author's "other nature" represents the archetype of omnipotent beings. In this form, he becomes an enigmatic and indescribable entity, transcending conventional comprehension and formlessness.

Quotes[]
I see. A character's main job in a story is fit some role, isn't it? Well, this is your job. You're the protagonist... one of them, at least. Every show needs the main character, right? This is you. Woo-ray! Revelations!
The readers needs something more interesting to see and read... I guess I'll try to work more on those things. Isn't it, reader? (Or watcher, I guess) The one who is viewing this page of mine right now?
Oh wow, you're begging to me interfer in the story? Sorry! Supreme Beings has a great duty to fulfill... and this is controlling the story, the very existence you participate in. A story needs its writer to maintain it.... because otherwise, it wouldn't have nothing to happen at all... literally absolutely nothing to happen.
Hm. Okay, it seems those villains doesn't understand, isn't that right? They... are worthless. Nothing else. Characters made to antagonize the heroes, with stupid purposes, with even stupider methods. I made them. I created them. As such... they can't help but just rotten away, if they so want to defy my authority. Not that I mind, but... I simply hate too overconfident dipshits.
Trivia[]
- As you can see, the Author is me/the real TGZ, because I/we am/are the ones who control all of Cronikus' story, no matter what.
- The Author is not to be seen as a character, but rather as an in-universe representation of the writer/creator, or a being "between fiction and reality".
- The TGZ (characters) are his favorite individuals from all creation because of them being the protagonists of his story; and he gives them, occasionally, higher potential than most, thus explaining of why the TGZ in their ultimate forms are ridiculously powerful and almighty.
- It's possible that they are also "fragments" of the Author himself, due to the him being the true representation of the real-life TGZ.
- He never directly interferes in his plot (like defeating Hekon and/or the Celestial Dragon before they destroy everything and/or kills uncountable amounts of people), because this isn't his job, but his creation's one.
- He hates arrogant characters and indirectly makes their fates terrible, or at the very least humiliating.
- He enjoys his status despite not caring too much about it.
- The ever-present coffee mug is not just a quirky habit but symbolizes creation in progress.
- It reflects his endless creative process—just as a writer needs caffeine to fuel long nights of writing, The Author metaphorically "fuels" the existence of the omniverse with his imagination.
- Interestingly, the mug is said to contain an ever-changing liquid that reflects his mood—black coffee when serious, tea when contemplative, and hot cocoa when relaxed.
- The Author has a peculiar fondness for "underdog triumph" stories. He often crafts scenarios where seemingly weak characters rise above impossible odds—a reflection of his belief that struggle and growth make for compelling narratives.
- He actively detests clichés or overly predictable tropes.
- Although omnipotent, The Author is known to operate under a self-imposed set of rules, such as:
- Never rewrite events arbitrarily: He values the natural progression of his story.
- Do not resolve conflicts personally: This is a recurring theme in his dialogues, emphasizing the independence of his creations.
- Respect free will: While he can manipulate characters like puppets, he allows them autonomy to grow within the story.
- Despite his omnipotence, The Author occasionally expresses subtle melancholy, alluding to the solitude of being a creator who exists outside his own story. This hints at a deeply philosophical underpinning: while he shapes infinite worlds, he can never fully belong to any of them.
- The Author’s presence is felt throughout Cronikus as subtle, almost imperceptible nods:
- Background characters sipping coffee may be avatars of The Author watching events unfold.
- Certain seemingly random details (a phrase, an object, or even weather patterns) could hint at his direct influence on the story’s progression.
