Hohohohoho!! Did you see?! I think I deserve an award right now! "Thaddeus Eric Foster, the only man who seriously injured the most feared army general in the universe"!

Björn Ericson, more known as Thaddeus Eric Foster or by his alias the Guardian, is a human-pleiadian hybrid, which has adventures with his cosmic hero team Blazer.

Appearance[]

Thaddeus is a tall man with a musculous and defined body. His skin is white, has a messy light brown hair, a small beard, and he has blue eyes with no pupils (due to his pleiadian part).

He is always wearing an outfit that he says is the official Blazer uniform, which consists on a large brown coat (with the Blazer symbol on the left chest, which appears to be a flame-like symbol), a fitted white shirt, light gray pants and dark gray boots.

Personality[]

Thaddeus is the kind of guy who can be both ridiculously frustrating and oddly admirable at the same time. He’s arrogant, narcissistic, obnoxious, and impulsive—all of which make him a pain to deal with. But those same traits also fuel his confidence, fearlessness, and relentless drive. No matter how powerful the enemy, he never backs down. He’s especially proud of his past victory over Juun, the supreme general of the Radonian army, and he never lets anyone forget it. He’ll bring it up every chance he gets, rubbing it in with smug taunts and over-the-top bragging.

And to top it off, he’s got an almost unfair level of charm. He knows it, too—using it to bounce from one fling to another, making sure he keeps things "interesting" by sleeping with a different woman (and a different species) every week.

But underneath all that arrogance and recklessness, there’s a core of real goodness. Thaddeus has a strong sense of right and wrong, even if he doesn’t always go about things the right way. When push comes to shove, he’ll always do the right thing—even if it’s a little messy. He’s a natural leader, someone who can take charge in chaotic situations and get people to follow him, not because they have to, but because he knows how to get things done. He’s traveled across the galaxies, freeing countless planets from tyrants and corrupt rulers, proving time and time again that, despite his flaws, he’s a true hero at heart.

One thing that really matters to Thaddeus is the Pleiadian Republic. He respects it more than most things, following its rules and values with a surprising amount of loyalty. Every mission, every fight, every adventure—he makes sure it all stays within the boundaries of what the Republic stands for. That’s not to say he’s blindly obedient, though. Far from it. Thaddeus hates being told what to do.

If something doesn’t sit right with him, he won’t do it—simple as that. He follows orders only when they align with what he wants, and he’s not the kind of guy to be forced into anything. That same attitude extends to his team at Blazer. He’s not one to push them around or impose his will. Instead, he leads by example, making it clear that, at the end of the day, he does what he wants, when he wants. And somehow, despite all his flaws, it just works.

Biography[]

Years ago, nestled within the frigid landscapes of northern Norway, a humble village named Enkel stood as a testament to simplicity. Wooden houses, crowned with thatched roofs, were the picturesque abodes of its inhabitants. Among them dwelled a young boy named Björn Ericson, whose days were filled with the arduous tasks of collecting firewood and fishing to sustain his family and the villagers through the lengthy reign of winter.

However, the tranquil existence of Enkel was forever altered when Björn reached the age of fifteen. Descending from the skies, colossal flying objects summoned the village's bewildered denizens. What manner of phenomenon was this? The ancient Norse deities, perhaps? It seemed implausible, given the prevalence of Christianity in Scandinavia for over a century. Yet, lingering within the depths of the collective consciousness, a flicker of belief in the old gods remained.

As Björn and his mother were beckoned forth, tears cascaded down the young boy's face, for they left his father behind, shrouded in uncertainty. Why were they chosen, among all the inhabitants of Enkel? What purpose did these celestial beings hold for them? Amidst the bittersweet parting, within the confines of the enigmatic object that revealed itself to be a spaceship, individuals approached Björn and his mother, injecting them with a mysterious serum. And in that transformative moment, he witnessed the awakening of supernatural abilities beyond mortal comprehension.

Perplexed and conflicted, Björn grappled with a maelstrom of emotions. The infusion had bestowed upon him physical attributes surpassing the bounds of average humanity, psychic prowess, and even the power of flight. His mind was awash with a whirlwind of astonishment and trepidation.

The vessel ferried them to a foreign world, simultaneously alien and eerily reminiscent of Earth. Björn initially attributed his newfound abilities to the serum, yet his mother would soon reveal the truth. He was not merely human but a hybrid, a product of the union between a Pleiadian (his mother) and a human (his father). Astonishment coursed through Björn's veins as he grappled with this revelation. His mother, an extraterrestrial being? And himself, an amalgamation of two worlds?

Yet, the serum held a different purpose, merely serving as a catalyst to unlock the dormant abilities bestowed upon Pleiadians. Until that moment, his human heritage had prevented the manifestation of such powers. Transported to Nördlands, the Pleiadian home planet, Björn marveled at the beauty of nature and technology that surrounded him. The weight of his true origins settled upon his shoulders, and he embraced his Pleiadian lineage. Henceforth, he would make occasional visits to Earth, ensuring to see his father every five years until the elder's passing. Afterward, Björn never returned to his ancestral planet.

For over seven centuries, Björn traversed the cosmos as a Pleiadian teenager, cherishing humility despite his dual nature. Pleiadians, inclusive in their worldview, welcomed him with open arms, with the sole exception of their archenemies, the Radonians. As the years unfolded, he discovered that time had no hold over him, his youthful visage preserved despite the passage of time.

Everything transformed in 1999 when curiosity drew Björn back to Earth, longing to witness the world that had evolved over centuries. Instead of returning to the region that once housed Enkel, he found himself in a small town near Chicago, USA, where a group of farmers mistook him for a lost boy and subsequently adopted him. In the absence of a name, they bestowed upon him the moniker Thaddeus Eric Foster. For nine years, he immersed himself in the earthly existence, age progressing in tandem with his human companions. When he discovered this discrepancy, he resolved to depart Earth in 2008, eradicating all traces of his presence by altering the memories of the farmers who had unwittingly provided him shelter.

In 2016, Thaddeus resurfaced on Earth, seeking to recruit individuals for his cosmic team, which he christened the Blazer. Initial resistance gave way to acceptance when Thaddeus enticed them with the promise of wealth and the opportunity to explore the vast expanses of the universe. Three years later, in 2019, news reached him of the emergence of super-powered beings on Earth, igniting his curiosity. Returning to the planet, Thaddeus encountered Ryan, known as Hyper, and divulged his origin story. Attempting to manipulate Ryan into joining the Blazer, Thaddeus resorted to blackmail, inciting the latter's ire. Unleashing a flurry of furious punches, Ryan nearly brought Thaddeus to the brink of death (however Thaddeus was unfazed since he was letting himself getting punched), only for the other members of the Blazer to intervene, restoring him to health through their healing abilities, a trait not possessed by Pleiadians.

In the wake of this harrowing encounter, Thaddeus swore an oath never to set foot on Earth again, his resolve hardened by the lingering memories of the "little incident" that had unfolded. While this may be viewed as cowardice, it's more as an act of "mockery" towards Ryan knowing he "rented his mind".

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Pleiadian-Human Hybrid Physiology: Thaddeus is a unique being, possessing both human and Pleiadian lineage within his genetic makeup. Pleiadians, an extraterrestrial race renowned for their exceptional psychic abilities, have bestowed upon Thaddeus a blend of powers that lay dormant until his encounter with his celestial brethren. Initially unaware of his true potential, he believed himself to be a mere mortal. However, the recruitment by the Pleiadians and the administration of a serum unveiled his latent powers, forever changing his perception of himself and his place in the cosmos.

Whether evading energy beams or swift physical assaults, he defies the constraints of time and exhibits agility and swiftness beyond comprehension. Capable of traversing cosmic distances at velocities surpassing the speed of light, he transcends the barriers of space with unparalleled ease, a spectacle demonstrated during the Cosmic Tournament.
      • Superhuman Reflexes: Gifted with reflexes honed to supernatural levels, Thaddeus possesses the uncanny ability to anticipate and evade attacks launched by adversaries who move at phenomenal speeds. He can sustain strenuous activities far longer than the average individual, demonstrating a resilience that places him in a league of his own.
    • Superhuman Agility: He can do maneuveurs and be quick in combat with efficiency, allowing him to handle his archery skills with precision and speed. He is agile enough to traverse between thousands of asteroids and fight well.

Regardless of intensity, his physiology readily adjusts to the surrounding gravity, enabling him to withstand its pressure and effects over both short and extended periods.
      • Self-Sustenance: Within the vast expanse of the vacuum of space, Thaddeus's adaptive physiology effortlessly acclimatizes to the conditions required for survival. Devoid of complications or setbacks, he thrives within this inhospitable realm, capable of enduring the harshness of space without compromise.
    • Longevity: A unique facet of his existence, Thaddeus ages at an extraordinarily slow pace, effectively rendering him the eldest "human" alive at a staggering age of 820 years. Despite the passage of centuries, he maintains the visage of a youthful twenty-five-year-old.
    • Flight: By harnessing his telekinetic abilities, Thaddeus can generate an ethereal aura that envelops his being, granting him the power of unaided flight. Effortlessly defying gravity, he soars through the heavens with grace and freedom. His flight capabilities extend beyond mere levitation, allowing him to maneuver with unparalleled agility and grace, propelling himself through space at velocities approaching the speed of light.
    • Psionics: Harnessing the boundless potential of his Pleiadian heritage, Thaddeus unlocks the true power of the mind, mastering the vast realm of psionics. His psychic abilities transcend conventional understanding, placing him among the universe's most formidable practitioners.
      • Telekinesis: With his mental prowess, Thaddeus exerts control over matter, effortlessly manipulating and levitating objects with the power of his mind. His telekinetic prowess extends beyond simple manipulation, allowing him to unleash devastating telekinetic blasts capable of inflicting immense concussive force. Such is the extent of his mastery that he was able to bind the formidable Radonian warrior Juun in invisible telekinetic chains, restraining her during their intense combat. As he further explores his potential, Thaddeus continues to develop additional powers rooted in telekinesis.
        • Psychic Energy Manipulation: The convergence of his human potential and Pleiadian lineage empowers Thaddeus to command, shape, absorb, and generate psychic energy. With this formidable ability, he simulates the powers exhibited by Radonians, fashioning beams, energy balls, and a diverse array of attacks infused with potent psychic energy.
          • Psychic Force-Field Generation: Through the fusion of telekinesis and psionic aptitude, Thaddeus conjures potent psychic force-fields of unparalleled strength. • Extrasensory Perception: Thaddeus possesses an extraordinary capacity for acquiring information through means beyond the limitations of conventional senses. This ability grants him access to an unparalleled wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and experiences.
      • Mental/Psychic Resistance: Bolstered by his own psychic and mental abilities, Thaddeus possesses remarkable resistance to psychic attacks from external sources and individuals. His indomitable will shields him from intrusion into his own mind, granting him a formidable defense against psychic assaults.
    • Superior Pleiadian Physiology: Through his half-human nature and extensive training, Thaddeus's potential transcends the norm, granting him access to previously untapped powers and enhancing the potency and versatility of his existing abilities.
      • Power Bestowal: Among his myriad abilities, Thaddeus's foremost power lies in his capacity to bestow new abilities upon others, including himself for a limited duration. However, he can only grant abilities weaker than his own, unable to bestow powers surpassing his own formidable capabilities. Furthermore, he can only possess one self-bestowed power at a time, necessitating the relinquishment of a previously bestowed ability to acquire a new one. Thaddeus predominantly utilizes this power on himself to enhance his own capabilities.
        • Regenerative Healing Factor: By invoking his power bestowal ability, Thaddeus activates a regenerative healing factor, enabling him to swiftly heal severe injuries. This ability mends his wounds at an accelerated rate, ensuring his rapid recovery even in the face of grave harm.
        • Spatial Manipulation: Among the abilities Thaddeus bestows upon himself, spatial manipulation stands as his personal favorite. This power grants him unparalleled control over the fabric of space itself. Thaddeus molds, shapes, and distorts space, allowing him to create portals, teleport instantaneously, establish wormholes for interstellar travel, and navigate through hyperspace and subspace. Through this power, he gains an all-encompassing awareness of the third dimension, harnessing its intricacies to his advantage.
        • Energy Absorption: Recognizing the vast potential of energy in its myriad forms, Thaddeus bestows upon himself the capacity to absorb and assimilate any type of energy, whether derived from external attacks or alternative sources.

Thaddeus's leadership is marked by his ability to inspire and motivate his comrades, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation within the team.

Weaknesses[]

  • While Thaddeus's physical constitution allows him to withstand extreme temperatures, gravitational forces, and harsh space environments, there are certain substances or chemical compositions that can prove detrimental to him.
  • One notable weakness Thaddeus possesses is his vulnerability to magic. As a pleiadian, he lacks any affinity or understanding of magic. Therefore, he is unable to defend against or counteract magical attacks effectively.
  • Additionally, although Thaddeus possesses remarkable abilities, he lacks a natural regenerative healing factor inherent to pleiadians. If he sustains significant injuries, he must rely on external sources such as his self-power bestowing abilities, medicinal treatments, or alternative forms of healing to recover. This reliance on external means for healing renders him vulnerable during periods of severe injury or prolonged battles.

Quotes[]

Life is crazy! Imagine that you thought and lived as someone, just for, suddenly, everything shows to be much greater than anything you possibly have thought of! My life was like that. The me of 800 years ago would never think that he'd be still alive in hundreds of years.

Tsk, your opinion about me doesn't matter. I do not think I'm better than you. I am better than you.

HahahahahahaHAHAHA!! You think I'm the same guy you have encountered with 1 year ago?! Nah! I got STRONGER! This fight will not be easy for you, dear human!

Radonians are terrible beings. They are basically how greedy and spoiled brats would be if they were a race. A race made only by greedy and spoiled brats. Think on a form of crime. Any, really. Most of them already did it with an individual from an unfortunate species that were on their way.
