Trivia

• Voodoo originates in Africa & migrated to the Western Hemisphere due to the slave trade. The practitioners are usually of African descent as a result.
• Over the years, non-practitioners have characterized it as witchcraft and devil-worship, and many sensationalist portrayals of the religion have featured in popular culture, like Tv-shows and movies due to misconceptions.
