Wight Physiology

The power of possess the physical traits of a Wight. Variation of Undead Physiology. Not to be confused with Revenant Physiology.

Capabilities[]

The user either is or can transform into a Wight, a type of undead or living sentient creature characterized by varying interpretations. Ones portray them as wraith-like creatures, shapeshifters of the dark; Others portray them as a zombie-like being capable turning the recently dead into their fold. One common trait the wights has shown is the hatred to all living things, seeking to extinguish it and driven to wage war to accomplish said goal.

Limitations[]

  • May be difficult, or impossible to revert back to a normal form.
  • May need to consume living flesh, blood, life energy, etc. in order to survive.
  • May still decay and rot.
  • Motor skills may be impaired.
  • May be unable to heal injuries.
    • User may lose limbs or not have limbs.
  • Wights may have a natural vulnerability to certain substances, forces, or items which they are powerless to defend against (I.E.-sunlight, silver, fire, salt, jade).
  • May be unable to harm holy practitioners. Such as priests, monks or men of the cloth in general.
    • Generally speaking they cannot harm the truly pious.
  • Often driven by an unreasoning and undying hatred of life, thus are unable (or unwilling) to ally with living creatures, even if they may be forced into service of a mortal they will likely be driven by a compulsion to betray them sooner or later.
